Aufgrund der DSGVO Bestimmung, die 2018 in Kraft getreten ist, musste ich mit einem neuen Blog für meine Tagesbilder und Arbeiten beginnen. Die Bilder, die von 2006 bis Mitte 2018 entstanden sind, also von Nr. 1 bis Bild Nr. 3898 verschwanden auf meinem damaligen Google Blogspot in das digitale Aus. Es werden aber diese Jahre hier nun wieder Stück für Stück restauriert und veröffentlicht, sodass alle Tagesbilder wieder einmal zusammen hier stehen werden. Das wird nur eine Zeit lang dauern. Danke für Ihre Geduld."

"Due to the GDPR regulation that came into force in 2018, I had to start a new blog for my daily paintings and work. The paintings from 2006 to mid-2018, i.e. from no. 1 to painting no. 3898, disappeared into the digital void with my old Google blog at the time. However, these years are now being restored and published here piece by piece, so that all my daily paintings will once again be here together. But, this will take some time. Thank you for your patience.

Mai Glöckchen

1st of May, I actually wanted to paint some stone throwing natives fighting with the police, as this is an old Berlin custom (yes, I am not joking, believe me ..), but then I thought otherwise. A few days ago a friend of mine brought a bunch of Lilies of the Valley along to my studio. Here they are called „Mai Gloeckchen“ which you literally could translate into „Bells of May“, so I thought this would make a nice subject for todays painting. The red mug is as-well a present, but from a friend from Switzerland.

1. Mai, eigentlich wollte ich ja ein paar Steine werfende Einheimische im Kampf mit der Polizei malen, aber dann habe ich es mir doch anders überlegt. Vor ein paar Tagen brachte mir ein Freund einen Strauß Maiglöckchen mit ins Atelier und ich fand, sie wären ein schönes Motiv für das heutige Bild. Der rote Kaffeebecher ist ebenfalls ein Geschenk, jedoch von einem Freund aus der Schweiz.
