Und ich fuhr gestern auch nach ans Meer, die Atmosphäre sommerlich, erleichtert und beschwingt, selbst als es heute schon wieder trübe war, lebte in meinem Atelier diese Stimmung beim malen dieses Bildes weiter.
And I went to the sea yesterday also. The atmosphere summery, relieved and elated. Even today on an again cloudy day, this mood lived on in my studio while working on this painting.
