A Touch of Class

I left my studio again today after 16 days, to look for motifs on the streets and did indeed find so many more already again. If only I had more time to paint them all faster – but I am working on improving the speed of the process – ha ha ha. I decided to give these two ladies the priority today, they presented a rare sight in Berlin Mitte, because to see someone so colourfully and elegantly dressed is not the norm around here, so they resembled for me … a touch of class.
Heute begab ich mich nach sechzehn Tagen im Atelier wieder auf die Straßen Berlins auf Motivsuche. Und wieder fand ich so viele Bilder, die ich malen möchte, wenn ich doch nur mehr Zeit dazu hätte, sie auch schneller zu malen – aber ich überlege mir da noch was um den Prozess zu beschleunigen hahaha. Ich entschloß mich, heute diesen beiden Damen den Vorrang zu geben, da sie wirklich etwas Besonderes in den Straßen von Berlin Mitte darstellten. Es ist hier nämlich ganz und garnicht die Norm, jemanden so farbenfroh und elegant gekleidet zu sehen. Für mich repräsentierten sie damit einfach …. a touch of class.
