Sometimes I am so glad that I am only watching the game, recording it. Some of the scenes I see on the streets are so full of drama and danger, that it takes my breath away, but then the sheer energy that I receive makes me want to paint it. The gesture beneath the ordinary.
Manchmal bin ich froh, daß ich nur ein Betrachter, ein Festhaltender des Spiels bin. Manche der Szenen die ich auf den Straßen sehe, sind so voller Drama und Gefahr, daß mir manchmal der Atem stockt, doch dann bekomme ich durch die schiere Energie, die ich empfange, Lust, diese Szene zu malen. Diese Geste hinter dem Normalen.
