Had an appointment at the headquarters of the police this morning. No no. do not worry, I did not change my profession, it has got something to do with the break-in into my showroom a while ago. On the way back I passed this Kebab stand, and thought it would be a nice motif to paint, after all the Kebab has become one of Berlin´s most favoured local dishes.
Heute hatte ich einen Termin im Polizeipräsidium. Nein, nein – keine Angst ich habe nicht den Beruf gewechselt, der Termin hatte etwas mit dem Einbruch in meinen Ausstellungsraum vor einer Weile zu tun. Auf dem Rückweg kam ich an diesem Dönerstand vorbei und er schien mir ein gutes Motiv zum Malen, schließlich ist der Döner ja mittlerweile eines der beliebtesten regionalen Gerichte in Berlin.
