Das Haus bei den zwei Kastanien

Während ich so durch die Mittagshitze Brandenburgs spazierte, kam mir seltsamer weise das alte Lied von Noel Coward in den Sinn „…mad dogs and englishmen go out in the midday sun…“ wobei man fairerweise in meinem Fall englishmen mit Maler aus Berlin ersetzen sollte. Ich weis nicht ob es das Bedürfnis nach einem schattigen Plätzchen, Neugierde oder nur Zufall war das ich in einen kleinen Weg abbog, aber auf jeden fall fand mich plötzlich dieses wunderbare geheimnisvolle Haus, versteckt hinter zwei Kastanien stehend, und es kam mir so vor als ob ich hier schon einmal gewesen war…
While I was walking through the midday heat of Brandenburg, strangely enough I had to think of the old song by Noel Coward „…mad dogs and englishmen go out in the midday sun…“ to be fair, in this case „englishmen“ should be replaced by painter from Berlin. I don´t know if it was in search of a cooler place, curiosity or just coincidence, that I turned into small path. What I do know it that a wonderful mysterious house found me here, standing behind two chestnut trees, and I had this strange notion, that I was here before …
