Gummibärchen

Ich hoffe, es gibt im Himmel Gummibärchen. Jedes Mal, wenn ich jetzt einkaufen gehe, muss ich wieder Sachen aus meinem Wagen nehmen, und sie zurück ins Regal stellen, weil wir sie nicht mehr brauchen. Heute ist Dein Geburtstag. Ich habe wie immer morgens Deinen Geburtstagstisch gerichtet, mit Kerzen, Blumen und Geschenken. Dann bin ich ins Atelier gegangen und habe eine Tüte mit Gummibärchen gemalt. Alles Gute zum Geburtstag, mein lieber Schatz, wo immer Du jetzt auch bist.
I hope there are gummy bears in heaven. Every time I go shopping now, I have to take things out of my cart and put them back on the shelf because we don’t need them anymore. Today is your birthday. As always, I set your birthday table this morning with candles, flowers, and presents. Then I went to the studio and painted a bag of gummy bears. Happy birthday, my darling, wherever you are now.
