A reflection of a moment of the day
At Bremen main trainstation, and a link to a radio interview, which was aired today on Bremen 2, and my special thanks to Christian Erber ..
If only those old walls could talk… still, only looking at them will add wings to the imagination…
Coming from the other side I only realized how grand this house really was…
As there was no rain or very little during the last weeks and months, the chestnut trees are loosing already some of there leafs… so we see autumn colours, where there not the heat…
While I was walking through the midday heat of Brandenburg, strangely enough I had to think of the old song by Noel Coward „…mad dogs and englishmen go out in the midday sun…“ to be fair, in this case „englishmen“ should be replaced by painter from Berlin. I don´t know if it was in search of a cooler place, curiosity or just coincidence, that I turned into small path. What I do know it that a wonderful mysterious house found me here, standing behind two chestnut trees, and I had this strange notion, that I was here before …
It is a privilege to enjoy the summer here in all its colours…
I can not get enough of these beautiful landscape here..
Vorbei an Bauernhöfen, fast wie kleine Fabrikanlagen, meistens verlassen…
Passing farms, that look more like factories, mostly abandoned…
My journey continues through Brandenburg, passing already harvested fields…
